We recently received an email from someone which blew
our socks off. We have always talked about the fact that we may often spark
a flame somewhere, but never get to see the fire that might be raging a few
years later. The extract below is one of the rare fires that we get to see.
What a privilege it is to be in this band.
"...(I am writing to tell you my story). I (play in)
a Christian-themed rock band and volunteer several times a year for the
organizers of Soulfest
www.thesoulfest.com, the northeast United States' premier worship and
CCM festival.
"I'm searching for a copy of the live UNDONE CD and
can't seem to locate it anywhere. While I'd like to be able to put a song
or two on the air (at the local radio station) and perhaps add them to
our band's setlist, my true reason (for writing) is more deeply personal.
"In 2004, when I was a guest of the Federal Bureau of
Prisons here, one of the songs on that disc provided endless
encouragement to me whenever I heard it on the local Calvary Satellite
Network radio station in Massachusetts. I only learned Mr. Sherrington's
name and the title of the CD this year, and it would mean much to me to
be able to find one. "
Needless to say, we have sent them a pack of CDs from
the YARDEN archive.
